MarketingSherpa B2B Summit 2012Woke up in Gainesville, FL yesterday morning and headed out into light showers that ultimately approached tropical storm intensity before arriving in Orlando to heavy clouds but little rain. Prior to leaving Gainesville we searched for the not easy to find but definitely worth finding Peach Valley Café (ask for Lauren who my wife described as "a doll"). And it was a great breakfast!

The conference is being held at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. A beautiful place with pools (even a few brave swimmers), a great golf course (the photo is from our room) and five restaurants. We are looking forward to today's BtoB Summit. The MarketingSherpa/MECLABS folks ALWAYS over deliver on content—and the team is genuinely nice, interesting and open to problem-solving discussions. I rank Dr. Flint McGlaughlin as one of the better speakers in our industry (think Tony Jaros) and I always enjoy hearing what’s new from Brian Carroll.

The progarm starts at 7:00 AM and goes until 7:30 PM—a packed day. I am looking forward to hearing more about improving performance on landing pages, push vs. pull marketing, optimizing "social"… and more!

An update will be published after today's sessions.
