Dan McDade, President
Dan McDade founded PointClear in 1997 with the mission to be the
first and best company providing outsourced Sales Opportunity Management™
to companies with a complex sales process.
Prior to starting PointClear, McDade served as president of UST,
The Business Marketing Group, a fast growing high-tech business-to-business
marketing services firm. The company grew over 500 percent during
his tenure. McDade and his team provided consulting services to
leading technology companies including Sun Microsystems, Texas Instruments,
Oracle, SAP, and many others.
From 1989 to 1991, McDade was an independent consultant providing
direct marketing, telemarketing, and new business development consulting
services. Clients included Sears, Exxon, Rodale Press, R.J. Reynolds,
and the Ritz Carlton. One of McDade's earliest assignments was to
write the business plan that helped the Ritz Carlton formalize its
plan to win the Malcolm Baldridge Award.
McDade's background also includes 10 years of experience in the
direct mail catalog business. As Vice President of Marketing with
Jackson & Perkins in Medford, OR., McDade ran what was at the
time the 17th largest direct mail company in the country.
McDade's educational background includes four years as a European
history major at the University of Maryland followed by a more practical
study of accounting at NC State.

Rich Roberts, Vice President of Business Development
Rich joined PointClear as Vice President, Business Development in January, 2006. Rich leads the national effort to generate new clients for PointClear’s Sales Opportunity Management solutions. Rich joined PointClear from Claritas, Inc., a San Diego-based business-to-business and consumer marketing firm. There, he was responsible for increasing revenue through aggressive new client acquisition, up-selling, and cross-selling of blue-chip retailers. Rich has also held positions with the Georgia Division of Public Health, and was Director of Geographic Information Systems for New Image Marketing, Ltd. in Fort Myers, Florida.
Rich has earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geography, with specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He currently resides in suburban Atlanta with his wife and two children where he is actively involved in the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta, and Reece’s Rainbow, an international Down Syndrome Adoption charity.

Marc DeSandre, Director, Development and Communication
Since moving to the Atlanta area in 1980, Marc DeSandre has held
a diverse and eclectic array of positions, from professional musician
and radio personality to public relations professional and outside
sales representative. For the past 10 years, DeSandre has implemented
bar code applications and turnkey disaster prevention and recovery
solutions for the high-tech industry.
Prior to joining PointClear in October 2001, Marc was Vice President
of Sales for Power Technology Group, a Platinum-level Value-Added
Distributor for the Powerware division of Invensys. During his tenure
there, he acquired clients such as Northeast Georgia Regional Health
Center, Reynolds and Reynolds®, and McGraw-Hill Distribution.
Marc graduated from Georgia State University with degrees in English
Literature and Marketing.

Karla Blalock, Vice President, Solution Services
Karla Blalock leads PointClear's client services organization, which
is responsible for program development and management, market research,
consulting services, and strategy. She also serves on the executive
leadership team.
Karla joined PointClear in February 2004 after serving as Director
of Marketing and Strategic Planning for Southern Company Energy
Solutions, a subsidiary of Southern Company. She brings a diverse
combination of business strategy, operational expertise, and market
development experience to her role. She has held marketing, sales
management and operational positions within the service, manufacturing
and distribution industries.
Karla draws on more than 20 years of experience to quickly identify
strategic issues and develop programs that can be executed and measured
against business objectives.

Carrie Surprenant, Vice President, Solution Support
Carrie Surprenant is a sales force automation and database expert
who brings over ten years of administration and management expertise
to PointClear. She is responsible for the management of PinPoint,
PointClear's proprietary database that allows for the precise targeting
of decision-makers in over 10,000 North American companies.
Carrie worked with PointClear clients Broadbase and Servicesoft
before moving to Atlanta in February 2001. Prior to joining Servicesoft,
she worked for Verizon Wireless, TECHMAR and Harte-Hanks. She has
extensive experience with solutions such as Microsoft Access, Onyx,
Siebel, Sales Logix, Crystal Reports, Great Plains, and other packages.
